Here’s how 6 Degrees Digital Gift Certificates work:
You choose the design - we have four options!
You pick the amount you’d like to give - anywhere from $50 up to $50,000.
You choose whether you want the gift to be emailed to you or directly to the gift recipient.
Upon placing your order, either you or the gift recipient (depending upon your choice in #3 above) will receive a digital gift voucher with a unique code valued at the amount purchased.
The gift voucher recipient can use the gift voucher toward any service provided by 6 Degrees, including but not limited to hotel stays, tours, consulting fees, etc.

+ WHAT IS A 6 DEGREES GIFT CERTIFICATE?
You mean besides the perfect stocking stuffer? The 6 Degrees Digital Gift Certificate can be used for any of the services rendered by 6 Degrees - use it for short hotel stays, long hotel stays, touring, private car transfers, or anything else bookable by 6 Degrees!
+ IS THERE ANYTHING THAT IT CAN'T BE USED FOR?
Yes. Gift certificates cannot be used for on the ground incidentals (like meals, spa treatments, etc.) while traveling.
+ CAN I CHOOSE WHEN MY RECIPIENT RECEIVES THEIR GIFT VOUCHER?
Yes! While gift certificate purchases are processed automatically, you can schedule your exact delivery date during checkout. Otherwise, it will default to sending immediately.
+ HOW MUCH SHOULD I SEND?
While the amount you give is completely up to you (from as low as $50 to up to $50,000), we have developed the following helpful scale to assist you in understanding how much certain travel items may cost:
- Flight Ticketing Fee: $75/ticket.
- Tour: $100+/person.
- Staycation: $300-800+/couple.
- 10-Day Trip: $5,000+.
- Safari: $10,000+.
The above are illustrative of how much certain services may cost. Actual costs will depend on many factors, including time of year, location, and level of accommodation.
+ ARE THOSE FOUR PICTURES THE ONLY OPTIONS AVAILABLE?
Yes. We currently only have those four options for ready-made gift certificates. If you cannot find one that you like, please contact us at info@travel6degrees.com to discuss custom options. Custom options start at a minimum voucher amount of $500.
+ HOW DOES MY GIFT RECIPIENT REDEEM THEIR VOUCHER?
The digitial gift certificate will include a unique voucher number and contact information that your gift recipient can use when they are ready to redeem the voucher.
When the gift recipient provides the unique voucher code to their 6 Degrees advisor upon booking a trip, the gift value will be deducted from their trip total. If the voucher amount is lower than the cost of the trip, the recipient will be responsible for paying the difference.
+ CAN I PAY WITHOUT USING A CREDIT CARD?
We are currently only accepting credit card payments for gift card purchases. Please note: All transactions incur a 5% service fee that is not included in the value of the gift certificate. This is applied at checkout.
+ WHAT'S THE FINE PRINT?
The gift voucher is non-refundable and never expires. Unused gift vouchers may not be redeemed for cash.
